    A way to change the background, to dark with white lettering. Sometimes I’m reading it at night, either outside or inside with the lights off. When I do, the white background is VERY white, and if I’m outside at night reading, that bright white screen draws flying insects like a magnet.

    Thank you for bringing the NIV 84 to our phones and tablets. Love the translation, love the app. The only weakness is ‘Search’ does not work properly, leaving out many references to a particular word, and the results you do get are all jumbled up, not in the order of the Bible books. It does not work no matter how how change the settings. So, to do any kind of word search, you still need another Bible app on your phone. PLEASE work on fixing this. God bless you, we still appreciate what you’ve done!

    I have always liked the NIV 1984 version and I'm very grateful to have it available with easy search options. Readability for the whole family that retains the spirit of God’s heart in each verse is invaluable to me.

    Biblica, who owns and updates the New International Version (NIV), has a mission to keep the up to date in contemporary English. As I understand it, this is required by their charter, and arguably, their newer editions are better. Unfortunately, they have also made it very difficult to access the older version electronically. This Bible reading app solves the problem for IOS. It is a solid, clean, easy to use Bible reading app, and it is one of the few ways to read the 1984 New International Version of the Bible on IOS. I grew up with the NIV: one of the clearest and best English translations of the nineteen eighties and nineties. Since that is the Bible I know best, that is a Bible to which I often want to refer. That this little app makes this possible, is really enough for me. But the app is also fast, easy to use, stable, visually appealing, and regularly updated. It is a great Bible reading app. I strongly recommend it!

    I've used this translation/version daily for over 30 years, now you can't find a printed version!!. The search function needs improve. The app seems to search the 2011 NIV, then when you select the verse you are looking for it gives you the 1984 text. However this causes problems because often not the same words are used in the newer 2011 version and the searches give 0 results when I know the word I'm searching for is used in the 1984 version. The selection function for copying and pasting needs improved. It is very "temperamental". Only phone app I found for the 1984 version, and thankful for it, but I wish the developers would make it more user friendly. I bought for around $20 and it been well worth it.

    I've inquired numerous times since last year about the search option (key words/scripture) for this app but there has been no updates to fix it. I paid about 25 dollars for this app. The free bible apps offer better search options than this one...little disappointed. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

    The NIV84 is a great, if not the best, translation of God's Word. With that said, the support for this product is abysmal, and I understate. The search engine is completely unreliable and unpredictable. And there are other frustrating bugs galore The company has yet to respond to my respectful complaints about these issues. Not a word.... It is very disappointing and discouraging that those dealing in God's Word would be this irresponsible in putting out and not maintaining this product.
