  • Horrible Company

I was very disappointed with the email exchange I had with Barron’s. I spent hours jumping through hoops trying to get my subscription to work. The company will not conduct business over email and insist on phone calls. That’s a problem for someone who has hearing difficulties. I voted with my dollar by purchasing the Bloomberg and CNBC subscriptions instead and will never support Barron’s or the WSJ again.
  • Love the content but the iPad app is unusable

The content is fantastic but the iPad app is frankly atrocious. It is quite annoying to deal with constant flashing by the photos and the tickers being broken. The app will constantly remind you the watch list won’t load. I love the content but this app is garbage. I actually just read the magazine via Google Chrome on their site.
  • 1 star app shadowing the quality of content

The App is so primitive it kills the work of the authors/ journalists. If it is a basic reading app for pdfs then atleast get a night/dark mode.
  • They can’t figure out tables and images

I pay for Barron’s yet I am forced to watch loud flashing video ads while I read articles on Saturday morning. I don’t know what’s so hard about tables and images for the Barrons people, but not 1 table shows properly without getting cut off. There is no offline functionality. You download the magazine and if you open it on an airplane is says “unable to connect. Retry”. You still need the physical paper copy in 2020. Dow Jones hires really poor programmers
  • Barrons is painful to read on the app

So many glitches. Does anyone at Barron’s read on IPads? The ratings of 4.7 out of 5 is really misleading. Look at the ratings for the last two or three years — really bad app reviews.

  • Not working anymore!!

The App is now useless as there is a bug that block you from reading articles. Even though we have a full paid subscription it constantly wants me to log on because it says I have no paid subscription. And it seems from the latest reviews this is a common problem that Barrons is doing nothing about to fix! Really not a way to treat trusted subscribers for a 20 USD a month subscription.
  • Barrons App is Complete Garbage

App does not work despite repeated calls and correspondence with customer service. Furthermore, they show no interest in helping a customer who has been a subscriber for decades. Problems started after they double charged me and I requested a partial refund. Since then, no on-line access works even though I have a valid subscription. A once reliable publication rips people off with no apologies.

Content good but very annoying pop up with the recent update. Turn it off!
  • Images flickers and App hangs

Got Barron’s IOS app on my iPad couple of weeks back. Image that show up in the dashboard and articles flicker at different rates. This is prominent when scrolling. And I had the App freeze on me, not responding to any of the actions when reading one of the articles off of the dashboard. Had to restart to get back into.
