  • Mark Levin is a Constitutional Rock Star!

I use the TuneIn app for one single reason: Mark Levin is a Constitutional Rock Star - and this app is the most convenient mode for me to catch his show on my own schedule. In a world turned upside down by nefarious ideologues, who willingly sacrifice our Constitutional foundation in order to accomplish their self-serving ends, Mr. Levin still tells it as it should be. He calls out corruption, waste, dishonesty, judicial activism, and legislative malfeasance for what they are. And I, for one, appreciate that there is still a strong voice for truth that hasn’t yet been silenced or bought-off. And if you listen closely, he even works through the correct Constitutional analysis when it leads to a result that isn’t entirely in line with the result he may want to see personally. That’s a man I can respect - and one I want to listen to.
  • Another premium user fed up

I could’ve written the summer 2020 review! Exact issues regarding trying to enjoy msnbc commercial free by subscribing via premium. I had many back and forths with friendly help clerks. Never solved the problem. Commercials bled through, five minutes of inanity between segments of news, long, repetitive “something you may not have heard from earlier today”, left us frustrated and finally we are giving up on this app. Wish there was a logical explanation for why they couldn’t deliver what I bought—commercial free. Let me know if you worked it out for real.
  • Disregard for subscribers

I subscribed mainly for MLB baseball. During the latter part of the 2020 season, without warning of any kind, one evening I attempted to listen to a game and discovered silence. Tunein should have shown the courtesy of at least communicating with subscribers, if not offering monetary compensation.
  • Spotty function, still hear commercials

I listen everyday, for many hours. I paid for premium months ago and yet I still hear commercials every single day. I try to restart it or go onto the premium tab hoping it’ll switch back but it hardly ever works. It just seems to switch back to premium on its own? Also, the app just stops playing randomly every day.
  • Used to Love It

Now, if I pause the app during a show, when I return it cuts to an ad instead of picking up where I left off. In fact, it’s as though the program never paused, but continued without me. It’s virtually unusable anymore.

I have been a subscriber since early days of TuneIn. One of the features I loved was this app was only one that allowed me to record a live show for playback later. Working odd hours, I have to listen to some favorite shows in off hours or even days later. TuneIn suddenly pulled that Recording capacity off the app, and, erased all my recorded shows. App frequently crashes resulting in need to reload app, which isn’t a smooth transition for end users. Overall, paid version is nice except for the above mentioned problems.
