I had this recommended to me by my dietician, and although recover from OSFED (other specified feeding and eating disorder) is not easy, this is so helpful. It’s a good, healthy replacement for tracking calories (which is my personal crutch) and it helps you to find new self talk through suggested affirmations, and helps you track your mood for each meal. Even though eating still makes me really anxious, seeing how much I was able to eat (although triggering sometimes) actually really motivates me to be proud of myself and keep a good record. And you can connect with your clinician on her so they can keep track of you and help you work through bad days. I jest started using this and I’m a long way from full recovery, but I know this is something I’m going to hold on to, I highly recommend it for anyone working towards eating disorder recovery
  • Wondered! Integrate timer suggest.

This has been a wonderful app to assist with my child’s recovery journey. My only suggestion would be to somehow integrate a timer to use at meal times, maybe that also gives alerts at half way and/or last five minutes. Otherwise I love all the options and ease of use.

It’s hard to find an eating disorder specialist, and if you’re suffering, you should get one. If you’re like me and can’t seem to find one, though, this is the next best thing (and a good companion). It’s so good, I feel like I should be paying for it weekly. It’s holding me accountable, keeping me mindful in tracking disordered feelings and behaviors, and has sweet motivation. It’s really helping me commit to my recovery in a scientific, empathetic, nonjudgmental way. Just give it a chance.

I love this app. It asks all the right questions to help me understand what I’m feeling. It’s clear on instructions and is very easy to use, while being effective. I’d give it 10/10.

I have struggled with bulimia nervosa since I was 9 years old. I honestly didn’t think I’d ever get out of the binge-purge cycle. I was throwing up constantly, I had a physical laxative dependence. I tried to help myself, but seemed to work. Every time I “recovered”, I’d relapse within a few months. And then I found recovery record. It has been here for me when nobody else is. Lately, I’m doing very, very well, and I’m coming off laxatives. This app has helped me tremendously, and I’m eternally grateful. Plus, it’s free when I can’t afford much at the moment. This has been such an amazing blessing!
