Just downloaded app because sick of Apple News pushing the “News+” constantly. Started using and default local news locations NYC, L.A., Washington DC and Cincinnati. Moved over a year ago from Cincy. Never lived in any of the other three. No way to delete imaginary “local” selections and no mention of current location or within 200 miles. And I had the location feature on. Google dud.

Nothing has proves to me more than when i made the wrong decision to switch from a Samsung Android phone to a Microsoft Phone to some kind of Chinese Android back to a Samsung Android to today my first Apple iPhone to show me where my friend is, who i can depend on, and what phone i need to go back to... its one word... google. I cant even find a news source without a constant bombardment from ads from everyone but google is by far the least intrusive & the less intrusive over the years the more trust it gains. I trust it more than i do my own family but everyone had an equal shot and sorry ive been online since before google began & everybody has tried to compete & lost. Others think because they were there first they are better & i just found out the hard way buying my iPhone 12. That was my bad, not googles but thanks to google i can now stop punishing myself for the $800 this cost me by flooding my iPhone with everything google because Apple is bassackwards with everything so dumbed down in pictures i feel like im back in kindergarten finger painting. Finally after 4 attempts to download google news, i have it. The news. The news as i choose it. Not to be bombarded with apple ads like my $800 wasnt enough? I just want an easy normal life in an easy normal file structure where words are still used to describe an app & not pretty hieroglyphs or pictures. Im not egyptian & i dont play charades. Good grief. I just want news.

The app works well and aggregates important topics to you. Good stuff.

Good source for keeping up with the world’s events, but being a conservative the site has been WAY too left leaning. Just give me the facts, please.

Great for reading during meals

Left wing biased filtered news. No right wing stories, only those filtered through for the left wing agenda.

On the scrolling media, when one clicks on the 3 horizontal dots to see more options such as “less like this” the options don’t show. The app thinks you’re trying to scroll to the next screen when you’re actually trying to see less of the junk in your news feed

It just keeps crashing on my iPad... I keep getting a stupid upside down ice cream cone.. There is no solution in sight! Please fix it Google!!!!!

There should be an option to mute Fox News. Frankly, it shouldn’t be included as a source of information on the app. Not because I disagree with their point of view. But because it’s not news. It’s propaganda.
