    We just got some extreme weather here. Took me by complete surprise. I remembered I had this app. After a couple of minutes I knew exactly what was going on. Very helpful informative and thorough. Love the update

  • Used to be better

    This app has long been my favorite app for weather forecasts and current conditions. However, it used to be much better than it is now. The widget used to show a 3 day preview which was perfect for a quick look into the next few days without having to open the app or unlock my phone. No other weather app I found offered this. Now, unfortunately, weather underground doesn’t allow it as an option either. Bring this back and it’s back to 5 stars from me.

  • WU used to be great but not since IBM

    As a user with 3 weather stations, I was excited to be a part of the WU community and enjoyed helping my neighbors know what the current conditions were. Since it has been acquired by corporate interests more interested in profit than community it has gone downhill. Now that personal weather stations are not appreciated by IBM and the Weather Channel, they have disappeared.

    I stop using WU few years back it was not giving what I needed. Now much improved do not change it. Love all the data wind speed direction and great long range forecasting. The other Weather Apps could take lessons. I feel those that don’t like this App just don’t understand science and weather.

  • Not enough info on Daily forecast anymore

    I use the daily forecast trends a lot to see 7 days out. I bought app to see 14 days out but the app has less information on the trends.... missing barometric pressure, snow forecast, snow accumulation. Not helpful anymore. I end up going back to the old version site for it. The app is good for seeing fronts, etc., coming in on the map. Please bring back all the trends...so I can see out past 7 days of forecast on the app.

    This app changed this past year and I had hopped it would improved again but it’s not as clean and concise as it used to be. They added in adds and push their premium products every time you use it, I’m moving on.

  • Can’t crowd-source my data anymore?

    Am I delirious and too dim to figure out the new app? I believe my location was between two weather stations far enough apart that the weather was sometimes off. So enjoyed the opportunity to either confirm or update the current conditions (as I had planned to do right now). But I can’t figure out how to do that on the new app. Did they take that feature away? It was my favorite aspect of this interface. I guess I’ll just go back to the other one. This app is only a redundancy now.

    This weather app used to be insanely accurate over the weather channel and over Apple weather. No more, I can open this one and weather channel and they are giving me the same weather forecast. Now, to see beyond the current day you want a subscription? No thanks, I can get inaccurate forecasts for free from my local network weathermen. Bring back the older versions with ability to see temps and such from local weather stations.
