  • The app crashes constantly

While Haaretz is a serious newspaper, the app for Haaretz online crashes after each attempt to read one article on an iPad. After paying for a yearly subscription, this is very disappointing.
  • very good (best?) reporting on Israel, Middle East

i very much appreciate being able to read Haaretz, getting a good take on Israeli politics.the articles are well-written and, while slanted to the left (my own bias) include more conservative opinions also. one request: i would appreciate it if we could select and copy text — in my case for pasting into tweets.

Crashes all the time. Log in sometimes works, usually doesn't.
  • Requires paid subscription

They should say straight up what the app costs. You can't even read a synopsis without getting the subscription.
  • Terrible Navigation

Besides scrolling through the entire paper (and not finding key articles), without a search engine on the iPad it is impossible to find what one is looking for. AND it does not look like Haaretz cares - the situation has been aggravating for years: look at the number of bad reviews.

This app crashes regularly, apparently on an article by article basis. And you have to pay for this privilege.
  • Bad Enough to Think About Unsubscribing

Frequently freezes in the title page. Frequently crashes when trying to bring up an article. Article introductions are incomplete. "Related Articles" are un-dated. Is the the famed Israeli technology? Shame, shame.

Nicely laid out but useless unless you subscribe. Nowadays you can get the same news from so many other sources for free
  • Pretty good newspaper, terrible app

I love reading Gideon Levy's editorials, and I was hoping to do that with this app. But it doesn't load, it just shows the blue intro screen forever and ever. Better to just access Haaretz through Safari.

installed it twice but once opened it never showed anything but a blue field with the word "Haaretz". Can't believe it could be so bad!
