    This is one of the best GPS for truck Drivers. It deserves more than 5 start. It’s so simple to use. My dad use to have the little tables you use for gps. Then it stoped working. My dad loved that gps tablet he was trying to go to store and buy another one. That when I started looking up truck driver gps on my dads Apple tablet. I found CoPilot GPS it was just like the one my dad had. Lane assist was good. My dad enjoyed it so match that we purchased the subscription. issues #1 I Dot’s have a lot to complain about this GPS but my only advice would be that when you cross borders it doesn’t talk. It doesn’t say which state u entered after you cross the border. I looked app the copilots website it shows the steps to turn on the border alerts but when u go to the app it doesn’t show that option. issues #2 when u pass over the speed limit by 5 mile it works u by making pip pip sound but it doesn’t talk. It just makes the pip pip sound all day long even when u go to the setting app it says the warning talk is on but it doesn’t actually talk. issue # 3 (POl) I don’t know what it stands for but when I looked up on the help section in copilot online it shows to turn on POl places and POl alerts, but when you go to the app there is no option for display POl places and alerts. I see display places but I didn’t see the POl think on the at all. According to the copilot I think it says the POl will help you get alerts for Borders and weigh station and more. Also I don’t hear the gps giving me heads up alerts for weigh stations and toll all of that the gps just keep telling me place of interest all day but not the important places like weight stations, tolls, and entering borders. it doesn’t talk. It only talks when I am near the exit. if those issues are fixed this gps will be way better.

    Hi my name is Franzo and I am a truck driver so app is good but still need some adds like when you put the address people should be able to view the place by satellite I mean a big view before going there; just like when google a place by satellite and that’s be great... thank you guys

    Love this app but can’t get My active traffic to work. Use it all the time. Would be a 5 if I could. Paid for it but no result.

    I’m a fan of this app, but I will be giving it my first downgrade. I’m receiving notices every time I open the app to enable push notifications. I then decline, as I don’t want to use this feature. It still continues to ask me to turn this on EVERY single time I open the app now. I did receive a response from the developer telling me to turn off notifications in iOS settings for the app. I never turned on notifications for CoPilot so it’s not even on the iOS notifications list. The problem resides in Copilot. It ignores the user’s wishes. There is no option to disable notifications in the app. There is just “enable” or “not now.” To resolve this, please add “never.”

    I've only had small annoyances with the app; tech support was slow and we're not able to resolve either issue. The first issue was my location marker was the size of dime. I did a from scratch rebuild on the iPad and that resolved it. The second issue was current, active traffic has not worked for around a year. They were not able to resolve that issue either. Today I installed the new app,, transferred the settings and I had 12 days left on active traffic. I paid the $9.99 for another year to save the trouble of getting them to take action. At first.the app was buggy as heck but it's pretty good now. Outside of slow and In infective tech support I like the app. However, I am currently not purchase the trucking add on.... So I guess I'll go without it. I use google maps for active traffic and backup routing. I guess I could just use google but there are features I don't want to go with out. I've been using the app for several years.

    Update at 100,000 miles with Copilot Truck GPS. This is the best. Period. I’ve tried Garmin and Rand McNally. Copilot is superior in every way. The interface is exceptional, and the ability to modify routes via waypoints is a must have for me. The navigation excellent. The interface used on an iPad much better than the hardware GPS’s. Love this GPS.
