Description

Snip is a screen-capture application that can capture the active window or custom areas. Drag to zoom in/out the screen shot; add labels, texts and handwriting contents of your choice and save it to your device or the clipboard. 1. Auto-identify windows: Snip can identify windows open automatically. 2. Editable tags: Add tags (rectangle, ellipse and arrow) and texts; and draw with handwriting brushes. You can change the location, size and color.

  • Constantly causes my entire system to crash

    I really like the simplicity of this tool and the fact that it saves each snip to the clipboard. But the app CONSTANTLY CRASHES. Not only that, it causes my entire system to reboot every app, including my browser with multiple work tabs open. Either fix this or let people know that the app has a tendency to crash under circumstances I've yet been able to determine.

    I had a 4k and a 2k monitor, running alongside my '15 macbook pro. Since attaching the 2k monitor to my setup, the resolution of the snips from the 4k monitor is very bad - blurry text.

  • Won't Snip

    Every time I open the app everything on my computer screen disappears except the desktop background. I hit every button possible and if it is taking any snips at all I don't know where they're going bc it is supposed to be saving to photos and nothing is there. This is useless. The Windows app is soooo much easier to use and actually does what it's supposed to without a huge hassle.

    KIS - Keep It Simple. Bottom line this app is yet to fail my needs. I have been using it for at least a couple of years. Hope this helps.

    And I loved it and got my moneys worth. Unfortunelty today, on a modern osx, it just can't. Since catalina its responce time has gotten REALLY bad, and it never figured out how to do mutli-monitor support. Also every time you boot, it randomly chooses one momitor to be the one it will work with, so you can't even develop habits to accomodate it. I'm sad to see it go, but without any supporrt for years and years, were seeing end of life here. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it was a rock store for so long.

    I think apple is trying to burn this company by making changes to their systems on whos app can make screen captures. This app worked good for so many years but now when i select screen shot I get the default mac background and can not actually use this program. I uninstalled it and now I can not reinstall the app. I think apple is trying to burn this company because its chineese.

    Obviously i'm doing something wrong since when i try to cut an image it goas into an empty wallpaper, but still there should be some way out - *** USELESS.

  • Stopped Working

    I used to love this app but it stopped working on my laptop after the latest OS update. Now when I go to snip a picture it only sees a blank background image to snip from. Not sure how to fix this...

  • No longer works after upgrade

    The application does not work on OS Catalina. I tried reinstalling and had the same issue. Please upgrade

  • Glitching?

    It used to work well but now whenever I open Snip, my open windows disappear and I can only "snip" my desktop. I have tried the shortcut keys and physically clicking but it is no longer working.
