Description

Filler is for making data. Use it to fill test databases, HTML tables, CSV documents, anything! It makes sensible looking data in a variety of formats quickly and painlessly. From random strings and UUIDs to names and email addresses, Filler can generate millions of rows of data before you've made yourself a coffee. Filler is iCloud-enabled, so your documents are available on all of your Macs. It looks great on Retina displays too.

This is great. Would love to see an array/dictionary datatype option (for JSON output, for instance), but as is, it makes oppulating test data a lot easier than it would be otherwise.

The app does exactly what it says. Saves a huge amount of time.

Filler did almost everything that I hoped it would. There are a couple of UI quirks, and there is no option for a static number (static text, but not static integer). JSON/YAML generation would also be a welcome feature since a lot of systems (Django, etc.) use this for text fixtures. However, I found this really useful and I was able to create up to 500k records with no issue. Features I would like to see: - JSON/YAML generation - An option for Random Names (First, Last, or both). The random email generation is really good so it seems like this would not be too far away. - Option for static integer (this could be there and I can't find it) - Command line version for programatically generating data from .filler files But totally worth the price for me as is. Keep up the good work.

Generates data in a variety of formats. It's a bit pricey, but it'll save you a ton of time. The website and help file could contain a little more documentation, though.
