    Carfax does not provide capability for customers to download the maintenance data they have entered into the Carfax database. Many customers such as myself, rely on that data to effectively and efficiently maintain maintenance records. If the Carfax database becomes corrupted or Carfax decides to no longer support the app, then customer data is lost. The company should provide the capability for customers to download their data. It is not that difficult.

    If you aren’t using this app to track service and maintenance on your vehicles, you are working way too hard. Besides that it’s easy to use and flexible and has a great interface, it is also available via the carfax.com website making it easy to print out records from your computer. The real magic is when they use the power of the Carfax database to backfill all the old maintenance from shops and dealerships. I also love how it predicts your maintenance window based on your actual mileage so it’s not just an annoying reminder when you don’t need it; the app usually pipes up just at the right time. Overall a brilliant app and it’s so cool of Carfax to provide it for free.

    A great app if all you are interested in is tracking oil change his tire rotations and registration stickers. But my car tells me when it needs an oil change and the state I live in sends me a registration renewal notice email, And so the only real value is the tire rotation reminder. What about all the other stuff one should do such as transmission fluid change, brake pad replacement, brake rotor replacement, engine air filter replacement, cabin air filter replacement, spark plug replacement, Brake fluid flush, front and rear differential and transfer case fluid replacement for 4WD, Engine coolant flush, timing belt replacement for some cars. Did I forget anything? Probably did, but that’s why I need an app that will remind me of all these things. Big swing and a miss.

    It’s a better app than anything the OEM offers. Works on multiple vehicles so you can keep track of all the cars in the household.

    I love how I’m able to update the vehicle maintenance records for my vehicle, whether via the Honda dealer service, the Firestone tire shop, local mechanic, or my DIY.

    Very nice and complete app for multiple cars service records. Only problem is that once it lost all of my data of about 18 months worth on about 5 cars.
