  • Fantastic Golf Game All Around, but...

    It is probably my favorite golf game on the App Store and I’ve tried them all! love the campaign mode and the way you are able to customize the characters and stats. Beautiful artwork/graphics as well. My ONLY issue (and I don’t know if this is happening to other people) is that EVERY TIME I open the game, additional data needs to be downloaded. It is the same amount every time and takes up to 2 minutes to start up. It may not seem like a lot, but when you are sitting there and waiting for the additional data to download it makes me want to close out the app and start up another game. If this can be fixed, or if this is only happening to me, please let me know! But again, I love the game and would recommend it to anyone who likes golf games on mobile.

    Android users are already using the latest version of this app, 8.6 iPad users cannot play the game at all. In game purchases are tax free at the Play Store while Apple charges 6.25%...why?

    Took away fun of playing with all recent changes. The watch is a worse addition. Can’t stay competitive if you can’t get the good quality one. You can only try so many times before getting frustrated and quitting the game. I have been playing for over 4 years and I am walking away.

    It’s the closest thing to the course, on a rainy day or just missing. The swing of clubs.this game puts a smile on , my face for sure!!

    I like this game and would normally give it a higher rating. I took a couple year break from playing and decided to download again recently. My issue and why I’m giving it two stars is because the match challenge feature is not working properly. When I start a match challenge I can’t proceed past my first tee shot. After I hit my first tee shot, it gives me a stroke penalty due to timing out. It gives me a stroke penalty after each turn for “timing out” then says the match will restart when I am connected to wi-fi. My internet is fine. I enjoy the game overall but it’s disappointing I can’t fully enjoy the match challenge feature, hence the two star rating.

  • All progress lost with new iPhone

    I’m still signed into the Game Center and my progress is still noted in the Game Center. When I pull up GolfStar now, my Game Center name pulls up but I’m back to level 1. There is zero chance I’ll be working my way back to where I was. Help!

    Be careful with making any purchases with this app. They have a major issue with “failed purchases”. The fact that one of their main customer service topics is “Failed Purchases” shows that this is a regular thing for them. After having 4 consecutive failed purchases my apple account was charged for all 4 failed purchases. I reached out to HIVE and they basically keep making you resend the same information/screenshots to them. They are not interested in resolving. They want to take your money and keep you running in circles hoping you will disappear. Reported to apple.
