  • Restore the Original Game!

    The original game was fun and relaxing, please restore it or give people the option to have version 1 of Word Crack instead of Word Crack 2 which is just the worst! You took a popular game and made it for kids that won’t even play it!

    This version is cute and all, but this was my favorite game because I DIDN’T used to have to watch/ click off an ad between every round. Way too many pop up ads!

  • Can’t Add Friends

    They took away the feature where you could add friends so you could play them anytime. I had over a dozen friends that we played each other regularly. ALL my FRIENDS left and the list is useless. Can’t delete or add to the list. They took away being able to see the puzzle and where each word was when you scrolled through the final list at the end of ea round. That was very helpful. They also took away the final word count. WHY WHY WHY?! I keep hoping they will restore the old features, but obviously they don’t read the reviews or care what their audience wants.

    Ya’ll took a great game & just sucked all the fun out of it & im writing this even after purchasing your new version w out all the annoying & incessant ads. Only reason you have the rating you do is because of the newcomers that dont know any better & half of them arent crazy abt it either. Also its not cool how you force the “keep going” on players that have purchased the no ad version. The 3 free uses should be for us to decide NOT YOU!!! You need to get rid of that crap altogether bcz we’re still choking on the millions of ads you were alrdy shoving dwn our throats we dont need another one. plus it makes the game so unfair that you dont even want to play it anymore. Hell you dnt know if your opponent has plenty of time to watch that crap or not.

    I played every day for years. Alas this new format is awful. Force fed ads constantly. Unable to compare my words with opponents or see list of all words in puzzle. Power ups are arbitrarily offered. It is like the makers purposefully set out to ruin the game. Mission accomplished !

    I started having issues with the old version and finally decided to update. Big mistake! It’s unrecognizable from the game I originally downloaded years ago. The cartoon style is off-putting, not to mention losing thousands of saved coins. What had been a fun brain exercise is now just a headache. I’ll be deleting this app.

  • Went from a pretty good word search game to a steaming pile of sleazy garbage

    I’ve played this game for years as an enjoyable, stimulating “time waster” when i have a free moment or am waiting on something, and have logged thousands of enjoyable games. I’m uninstalling after writing this review and not ever thinking about this game again. After installing the recent updates, this game is totally different and is now absolutely awful; it now inserts ads for garbage at every opportunity and added a bunch of pay to win mechanics. Its no longer about finding words - now its about seeing which player can suffer through the most ads. Didn’t find enough words? Just watch some ads to make up for it. I understand that free apps need revenue and to some degree this is how the market works, but the changes are so over-the-top and jarring that it can’t be anything other than a shameless cash-grab by the publisher as they run this game into the ground and squeeze every penny from their userbase using all the worst aspects of today’s mobile game scene. All good things come to an end, and this game’s time has come.
