  • Rise and Set Times Issue

Overall this app is very stellar in every aspect. However, the annoying part is when it displays an object’s rise and set times. For example, the moon just rose at 2:52pm, and the app displayed correctly. However, as soon as the moon rose, the app then displays the rise at 3:30pm. So if you’re caught off guard, you probably think that the moon rises at 3:30pm when it has already risen. There needs to be a better indication of when an object will rise or set on the next day with a +1 or something, such as is nicely depicted by the Lunar app that tells you when an object sets or rises with a +1 to indicate the nezt day as soon as the current rise or set times took place.

I love stars and am no expert, but this is fun and smart. I do love using this app and looking at my favorite constellations and planets and stars!
  • One of my fav apps!

Love the UX and always pulling this out whenever looking at the night sky. Great information, and love the calendar of nightly events to be on the lookout for. Thanks for the great work! One wish though, if you could integrate with a telescope as sky finder, that would make this about perfect!!
  • Best AR app ever!

Very cool and very fun! If you are into the stars (for scientific purposes) you’ll love this app. Also spend the few extra bucks and get the SuperMassive download, there is a monthly charge so you don’t have to do the whole $20 at once if you prefer. You won’t be disappointed with it! It’s a huge download so be prepared for that. I wish that they would include more info on the planets, and maybe a “virtual tour” of Mars and others. But either way, you simply cannot beat Sky Guide. If you have the “space” for it, then check it out.

I’m obsessed with this gorgeous app and I use it almost every night when I’m sitting out on my deck at night & have a beautiful view of the stars. However, I would love to see widgets for Sky Guide (like one for the current moon phase, etc). That would be so awesome!
  • Probably one of the best apps on the AppStore.

I first downloaded this app a day after the great conjunction of 2020 happened. I saw the two planets and the sky and immediately started getting more into this stuff. I started watching Cosmos and found myself being fascinated by this. As I said, shortly after that I downloaded this app. I went outside and looked at the stars for about 30 minutes and immediately after that went back inside and bought SupperMassive. So in conclusion this is probably the best app in the App Store.
  • Jupiter Saturn fiasco

I bought this app to try and see if I could see where Jupiter was aligning with Saturn. It was a total failure. It didn’t even show where Saturn was. It only showed Jupiter way below the horizon. A total waste of a little money.
  • Keeps getting better

It seems every time I open and use this app there are more features. Although I’m not a heavy user this is my go to app for exploring the night sky and for photographing the night sky.
  • Good app, bad compass.

For an app that isn’t free you would expect the compass to be accurate. It would be great if you could recalibrate it manually.
