It will get the fifth star when 1) cmd-return executes a query, and 2) I can have more than one query window open on a table. I encourage everyone to buy this so he (or she) can afford to add features. It's a good program.

The new features are quite nice and build on an already useful and productive app. The developer quickly responds to requests and any potential issues.

Can't seem to render varchars. Just says "binary data" and the length. It's a sleek looking UI, just lacking very basic features.

Create table should import the column names CSV and provide a window allowing you to specify the data type.
  • Reloading Database is infuriating!!!!

OMG, it just did it while I'm typing this. Whenever there's a change in the database, it brings the window forward. I had a two DBs open in separate windows. One much more active than the other. When I was using the less active DB window, the other one kept bringing itself forward, making it nearly impossible for me to do what I needed. On top of that, the entire window becomes completely locked whenever it's in that loading mode. So, good luck if you're trying to write a query or something with an active DB open. In Preferences, you can disable "Reload database on external changes" but toggling that doesn't seem to have any effect. It still keeps reloading itself every few seconds. This is the only app I've found so far that checks off pretty much every requirement I have for a sqlite GUI, so I'd really like to keep using it, but this "reloading database" nonsense is getting tiresome.
  • Great app, small issues with v1.0.301 (dark)

Love SQLPro for SQLite. However when adding new fields in v1.0.301 you cannot see the field name you are adding (white type on white background issue). Otherwise keep up the good work.

I like this db manager very much. I have a small quibble with its not being useful in iCloud. It would be nice if it would lodge dagtabases in the cloud so I could access the db with a portable device wherever I am. As to support. I have had excellent luck in obtaining a quick and complete reply on Twitter from @SqliteProApp.
  • Query warning! Beware

I was trying to import a dump file with the query page. It kept failing, after looking into it here, they are executing all the queries at once! Beware! Caused a lot of headaches trying to clean up after that mess. Eventually went back to the commandline to get it to work.

I bought this app to work on a SQLite database of my photography work. It works well and was simple to use.
  • Lost data

I rarely write unfavorable reviews, but I just lost a couple of hours worth of work because the app wasn’t saving my changes, and I didn’t discover this until closing and re-opening the file. Hard to trust a database editor that silently ignores saves.
