    I would love to give it five stars, however after the newest update I have had multiple issues where it says I have already recorded 1sec for the day even though I haven’t. I still haven’t been able to do December 14th which is frustrating being so close to the end. Overall a good app, just need to fix the glitches.

    I started on January 1, 2020 to use 1SE as a grateful journal and I’m happy to say that I have used this app everyday to chronicle something that I’m grateful for each day. It has helped me to be present to the moment and grateful for even the smallest things in a day. I highly recommend this app which is very user friendly.

    I use this app everyday, I pay cash money for it because I love it so much. BUT it crashes/the music section is inconsistent on when it will work without resetting. Frustrated by how buggy it is.

    Not as great as it used to be. I miss landscape mode and the quick in-app camera. Now the apps main purpose is getting $50/year out of you. They’ve added all these extra layers to the app that might be cool (like projects) but the UI and UX choices made make it feel clunky and ugly to use, and gets in the way of what I’m currently using. I don’t mind paying for apps either, but a lot of their premium features feel so artificial like volume control and 2 seconds or more. It probably took them more time to have meetings about these features than the implementation from the engineers on the app.

    It would be great, but the app keeps crashing when I open it to add a new video. I tried updating it but it freezes mid-frame wherever I click on a video and won’t let me view it.

    Can’t believe they expect someone to shell out that much money for a year of “borrowing” useful features. I used to love this app because it was so smooth and easy to use but will now be using alternatives. The greed is real.

  • Very Good App, One Of My Favorites

    First, I love the app and use it almost every day. I've covered the last 5 years with one seconds and my friends and I love going back in time and looking at them. We rarely do that with, say, photos. The app is great for video journaling and is, IMHO, the best way to cover events, trips, etc. A few suggestions for improvements: - Sorely, sorely, sorely needed: a way to duplicate projects. Sometimes you want a different cut of a freestyle 1SE, like if you covered a party or something (you might want a chronological cut and one that's mixed up, a longer one and a shorter one for social media, etc. etc. etc. ) This could make a nice subscription feature. (The option to add snippets to multiple projects has alleviated this problem a little, but sometimes you don’t know in advance if you’d like a different cut or how many) - There should be a way to turn off the date, but turn on the captions. Sometimes I just don't want a date, but i do want a caption - There should be a way to pick videos by album (on iPhone, for example), instead of from one big list of all videos on the phone. - When ordering videos by date, it would be more useful if 1SE went by date-created instead of by date-added-to-the-phone or date-last-modified. Without that, adding videos from other sources to your phone totally screws up the dates

    I use to LOVE this app. But the last update makes you pay for things that were previously free. Previously you could add two pictures/videos everyday. Now if you want to add two you have to upgrade to the “Pro” version. Talk about super frustrated. It’s just so sad that it’s all about money.

  • Freezes when trying to pick snippet

    Used to be a great app but recently it’s been freezing up A LOT every time I try to pick which part of my video to use for a snippet. It’s so bad that I can’t even pick snippets anymore unless I only use auto fill, which doesn’t allow me to choose what part of the video I want. I’m really disappointed since I love this app and want to finish adding snippets for this year. Would love to keep using it if this could be fixed!!

    This app is pretty good! It’s very fun and sometimes even bitter sweet to look back on mine from one year! This is definitely the best app of this video diary category. Haven’t had any problems yet
