    Don’t waste your time or money. I regret signing up and will be deleting after my month is up. The system to matching is not great plus it seems to be slow with likes and matches. Just horrible!

    I’ve used a ton of dating apps and sites from eHarmony to Match to Coffee Meets Bagel to Bumble, etc. etc. I enjoyed my experience on Hinge better than on the others. The quality of people on Hinge is higher than on other apps I’ve used. People seem more serious about meeting someone. Perhaps the pandemic is making people realize they want to take dating seriously. Who knows? It’s worth it to be on the app for a few months and see what happens. It was great feeling sitting with my boyfriend and deleting the app together. 😉

    I’m 6ft athletic tan 25m and I’ve been told I look like young Heath ledger, only being shown very large women and when I get a like or match with one of the attractive women, I’m then shown a few more attractive women before back to 500 extremely unattractive ones in a row. It’s disrespectful to me to have to be labeled in the same league as these women because I don’t have boobs or booty to show off to get tons of likes, boosting my elo. I am a premium member as well. Based on the other reviews plenty of other men are having the same issue. Really upsetting. Should have a body type filter because fit guys are forced to dig through hundreds of women that are twice our size.

    I downloaded the app, used it for 4 days, deleted it because it got overwhelming. I echo the sentiments from the other reviews– close the floodgates, I’m inundated with messages and don’t know how to respond to everyone. I became tied to my phone, trying to answer everyone. I didn’t want that life, so I deleted my account and the app. Maybe in the future when I am ready and have time– I’ll give Hinge a try again. Would recommend to friends though because I’ve had interesting conversations on there and the guys are pretty wholesome* *wholesome as in not always looking for hookups

    Got banned after a month of using it. Had all normal conversations and my pictures were mine and nothing dirty. Contacted their team and got ignored two different times by two different people. Made me send them a picture of my license too which was strange. Completely banned my whole phone and number.

    It started like any other dating app.. after a few likes (around 5-10) for some reason I had wasted all my likes for the day. I decided to purchase a monthly subscription to use the other awesome features. However, once I did the purchase for some strange reason the only profiles I was receiving were nothing close to my settings, not only that, after a few clicks here and there I noticed another section were people are classified as “standouts” which you can only like if you purchase a “rose” for $3.99... I mean, I get the whole purpose of the business but with so little likes in the beginning and after purchasing a month subscription now I have to purchase “roses” to view higher quality profiles, it’s a bit of a ripoff. I’m not mad though...

    I’m in a major Metropolitan city. Yet all I see is obese women. I’m not heating it’s just not my preference. You would think the algorithm would understand that after “X’ing” on the profiles. So you go through deleting the app and re-downloading it. Hoping the algorithm will re-learn your preferences. NOPE!!!! It seems the only way you make it on this app is if you pay the premium. However, that’s not the case as well. You get a couple days of “Women in your preference range.” Then back to normal ho-hum profiles. IMO, these apps will never get anything right and their slogan “the app meant to be deleted” is nothing but a gimmick. Wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of four star and up reviews are Bots. If you sort reviews by star you’ll see, on average, the developer only responds to three stars and above ratings

    The most disgusting, ghetto, bottom of the barrel broads I’ve ever seen. Don’t download this app unless you’re completely desperate AND have no standards. Filthy. Fat. Ghetto. Old. Parenting. All of the above. Stay away from this app.
