Manga by Crunchyroll

Anyone who gets this be warned you have to get a premium membership to even read past the first chapter and that is stupid to me like why couldn’t they make a system with there regular anime app where you get an add every so often. I started reading one of there mangas and I liked the first chapter so I wanted to read the second but you need a premium membership to even read past chapter one and it’s like that for a lot of the other mangas on there app.

I honestly like this app, it has a good range of manga that are fun and interesting, the app is easy to use when it works. but my biggest problem with it is, sometimes I find a manga i am really interested in, I read the first chapter and scroll to start the next volume, the next thing I know, I’ve skipped ahead multiple chapters. For some reason there are just huge chunks missing from certain manga. Please just let me read through a manga from start to finish, don’t leave out half the story

- No updates in over a year - Not iPhone X+ compatible in 2021 - Crunchyroll just acquired I’m assuming this app won’t be updated again. :(

It’s bad. It barely works and everytime I’m in the mood for reading manga, the app just doesn’t open. Other apps that pirate manga work much better for some reason, which is a shame since I want to support the manga industry.

This app has a nice selection of reads, relatively good formatting too. I've found a couple of gems on here. It's huge downside however is the amount of times I get an incessant message about it not being able to connect to the server and to check my internet connection. it's very much NOT my connection as adjusting that, be it to a different wifi network or LTE data as that makes no difference. This has been an issue since even my last iPhone, which was years ago and no other app in my experience has this problem. The only solution is deleting and reinstalling the app, and that's only good until the message comes back a few weeks later. All in all, I want to like it but this is near irredeemable an issue. Would be one star if not for the fact that it's a good inclusion with my crunchyroll subscription.

I downloaded the app to read manga but they didn’t have the anime I wanted to read

I’m a premium member and this app always tells me that there is a connection error so I can’t read any manga. Been like this for month, what a joke.

I get the following error all the time. “Could not connect to the server. Please check your network connection.” To fix it I have to delete the app, redownload and sign back in. And that only works for a little while. Also this app does not extend its screen to fit on the XS Max. Looks like it was built for the iPhone 4 and never changed dimensions. Wish this worked but it doesn’t.

This app never works.

Excuse me but I’ve been unable to use your app for months it says can’t connect to the server and it won’t connect at all please fix this and if you can please add a landscape option I prefer reading in landscape.
