Description

Traveling to San Diego? Visit the World's Largest Lemon. In Las Vegas? Visit the Glow-In-The-Dark Kiss Mini-Golf. Stopping in Chicago? Visit the Hill Street Blues Police Station. Choose from over 22,300 offbeat attractions from around the US! This app lists places and things that you would not normally think of visiting. These attractions are fun, oddball, strange and sometimes normal but have a uniqueness to them. Also included with each location is the address, weather, images from a Flickr search of the location, Internet search of the attraction, URL and phone number (if they exist), and more. - Import GPX files; this makes it much easier to find offbeat attractions along your route. - Show the driving distance and time between your location and an offbeat attraction. - Show a route between your location and an offbeat attraction. - Send offbeat attraction data directly to our Road Trip Planner app, or to Apple Map. - Submit new locations and location corrections.

Found several out of the way places we wouldn’t have found on our own

Open this app and related apps and try to figure out what the numbers mean? Try to get the answer. Way too difficult to figure this out!

The Erie Canal is called Tonawanda creek on map 14120. Erie Canal is very influential part of NYS

There are a few general interest locations, but they have really improved the weirdness of the location database.

Educational, inspiring, and an experience of stuff to see while traveling near and far! Users can update rhe data base too!
  • Does anyone else find this app clunky and difficult to use?

Nothing about the controls makes sense. I’d love a refund. Update 8/12/2019: months later the developer responded to this review: “Nope. Everyone else finds the app easy-to-use and helpful." WHAT A JOKE OF AN APP. WHAT A JOKE OF A “DEVELOPER”. Stay just the way you are guys. Don’t change a thing.
  • Great for RV’ers!

My husband and I are F/T RV’ers traveling the country. We have seen so many great attractions that we would have never known about if not for this app. Love it! We have told at least 30 people so far about it. The developers also are very responsive when we let them know of an attraction no longer there. This is the only app review I have ever done,I like it that much to take the time to let others know.

We love this App! Traveled through 8 states this past week and loved the stops we would not have known about without the App. One suggestion - this App would be top notch if users could add attractions to it! We saw many that were not on the App and sending an email for each one is inconvenient, a huge pain.
  • Database Open Error - Updated Below

Just updated to 2.0.992. When I open the app, I get a long “Database Open Error.” I really enjoy the app and what it offers. However, it doesn’t show me what’s in the area. I’m new in this area and would really like to explore the area. Same release - 2.0.992. Opened the app 3+ times today and it has worked fine. Can’t explain the “Database Open Error” message I received numerous times several days ago. Fun app to use and find interesting places to check out!
