  • Does not sync properly

The synchronization feature in this app does not work. I removed some bookmarks using the web application and the same bookmarks still appear in the app. Not good...

I’m surprised this app doesn’t get more reviews. It’s a fairly fast and responsive application that provides easy access to pinboard bookmarks. I like the minimalist design and the well-executed set of basic tasks. The most important for me was to have quick access to filtering my bookmarks with my existing tags, which the app does delightfully. I hope the developer continues improving this quite useful app.
  • Great in principle, but lacking basic features

I was looking for a Pinboard app with support for the unread list feature (which most seem to lack), and thought this would fit the bill. Though that feature is nice, it's lacking in other fundamental regards. Search operates on item titles, not tags, the interface is pretty slow all around, and most critically basic keybaord shortcuts don't work. This includes the app-sepecifc ones (E to edit and so on) and even basic OS commands like command-A to select all text. No automatic tag complete, either, which is a basic feature for this kind of app. I hate to bash an independent developer, but I feel cheated out of my $3 on this one. Dissappointing.
