    This app gets me to work out without making it feel like it’s work. Tons of diverse workouts and warmups/cool downs included so you’re not dying for a week after the first few workouts. The only criticism is I wish there was support for dumbbell workouts.

    I have been using this app for almost 5 years. I have been telling people who are lazy, afraid or don’t have time to go the gym to give it a try. It is worth it. It might be a bit expensive and that’s a turn off for most of the people but I would recommend doing a 6 months subscription first. Finish a journey or two and you will definitely see results. If you can’t stick to it, you will be wasting money. I added weights now since I got bored of the body weight workouts but every time they add new workouts, it is always exciting! ’If there is a will there is a way’

    I’ve been loving this app for a while now. Really helps me just get on with working out without having to set up a whole plan myself. I would like it better if I didn’t have the workout done message after the 1km warm up run. I’d also like it to be optional to check Into a workout location. It pops up right in the middle of a workout and is clumsy to click through while working out

    I bought the 6 month subscription last week and the app keeps saying payment error and won’t let me access the workouts I paid for, but the charge went through on my bank. I sent them an email to support@freeletics and still have not heard anything back from them. Now it looking like I just lost 50$ because of this app.

    They’ll charge you to renew it without a heads up, and won’t refund you when you notice. It doesn’t show up under subscriptions on the iPhone and no way to cancel from the app. Decent app for body weight training, but they’re definitely shady about the money thing. If you want to cancel, do it via their website prior to your year being up.

    I actually love Freeletics and have been using it for a year. But this morning the app crashed on 3 different interval trainings during the “share” portion, deleting my entire workout progress for that session. I was forced to simply “log” sessions without timing otherwise I would have to redo them all. I suspect this might have something to do with the IOS 14.2 update last night, as the app was working fine earlier this week. Thank you for your attention to this matter, I will change my review once it’s fixed but the app is currently unusable.

  • Apple Watch app doesnt work and can’t skip waiting

    I just bought a brand new Apple Watch Series 6 with cellular. I have found two huge bugs in the Freelitics apple watch app. Note: The entire reason for using an apple watch which has cellular internet access as well as GPS, is so that you don't need to carry your huge and fragile and expensive iphone everywhere. However, your Freelitics app is not useful at all. Please fix these two bugs: 1. During runs, the app on the apple watch freezes when you go out of range of the iphone. It does NOT track time and does NOT track GPS on a run. The app does nothing. This is completely useless as being able to track a run on the apple watch is the sole point of having a smart watch (not bringing a heavy, fragile, expensive iphone everywhere). Please fix this so that the freelitics app can track a run independent of the iphone. 2. When i am proximate to my iphone, and doing an active warm up or cool down, the 30 second time counter for each workout goes out of sync with the phone and the apple watch app. The iphone freelitics app tracks the time correctly, but the apple watch freelitics app shows completely the wrong time. Again, this makes it useless. Please invest in the apple watch app. Thank you. Finally: you can’t skip resting times. Because we use our smart phone, we switch apps. This causes the app to crash/reset very often. This resets ALL of your waiting times. Such a frustrating waste of time and interruption! So needless
