Description

OpenSnow is your trusted source for the best snow forecast, snow report, high-resolution map overlays, and ski conditions information. Conveniently displayed on your iOS device, find the latest 10-day snow forecast for your favorite ski resorts, receive ski conditions information, and view our high-resolution maps, all at your fingertips. Forecasts for Ski Resorts, Not Ski Towns You might have a favorite weather app or website that works just fine for your town. But finding the best snow requires features and data that your other weather apps do not have, like data for mountain summits instead of nearby towns, current snowfall measurements, snow stake cameras, and lots more. Everything You Need to Chase Powder Finding the deepest snow at the right time requires data, skill, and a bit of luck. We can’t help with getting lucky, but we can provide everything else, including outlooks from multiple weather forecast models, hourly details, mountain cams, and the latest snow reports. All Your Mountains on a Single Screen Choosing which mountain has the best snow can feel overwhelming. With OpenSnow, deciding where to go is easy. Compare the latest forecasts, conditions, and cams for your favorite mountains in just a few seconds. Expert Guidance from Local Forecasters Now you have a personal weather forecaster guiding you to the best snow. Our local experts write a new “Daily Snow” forecast each day for regions around the US and Canada. Instead of spending hours sifting through weather and snow data, you can now get the inside scoop in just a few minutes. 10 Years In, Trusted by Millions As skiing (and snowboarding) meteorologists, we started OpenSnow to make it easy for our friends (and their friends) to find powder. Now over 10 years later, we reach millions of people and still obsess about making the forecast more accurate and create features to making finding powder easy. In other words, we love snow as much as you do. All-Access Features Include: • 3-Day Hourly Forecasts • 10-Day Snow Forecasts • Current & Forecast Radar • Estimated Snow Depth Map • Daily Snow Email Delivery • Favorite & Offline Trail Maps • Favorite & Timelapse Cams • Custom Forecast & Report Alerts • Snow Forecast Trends • Snowpack Graphs & Analysis • Historical Snow Reports • OpenSummit All-Access Carbon Removal Commitment To help mitigate the threat of climate change, we have committed 1% of our All-Access subscription sales to the direct removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and its sequestration in secure, long-term storage. I’ve been here since the beginning of the app. It was great then; awesome now. This is the one app I look to when I begin planning a ski trip. It’s an ESSENTIAL app for skiers!

I paid money to get the premium access or whatever they call it. And I did not ever receive access after I paid them.

The normal weather app on iPhone usually gives false readings and is inconsistent. Open Snow gives accurate data and extra like how many inches will fall over the next week at you favorite ski resort. It has been extremely helpful and has helped me plan trips.

Open Snow is a great resource. I’ve always been a bit of a weather geek, relying on NOAA, which has always been more accurate than other sources. Open snow it’s much more focused on the mountains and gives me earlier info and more accurate info. The focus is happens to be where I care about, i.e., ski areas and back country!
  • Love it
