  • Low Battery Notifications

I have been using the app for a couple of years but a change has taken place with my app and hearing aids. When I receive a notification that 1 of the batteries is running low, it locks my screen and I’m not able to adjust my aids. Replacing the battery does not cure the issue. I have to reboot my phone. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and that doesn’t cure the issue. I hope this can be fixed

  • Stops connecting all together after iPhone updates

Nevermind the usual disconnecting and reconnecting of the batteries in order for the iPhone to recognize the Resound hearing aids and then ask to pair (again and again) with them. It's not enough that the hearing aid app should be opened in order for the pairing to occur, no! Now they don't even pair no matter which order of uninstall/reinstall software/turn off hearing aids/turn back on/add in hearing aid compatibility/Remove all other potential apps that might interfere (bose hearphones)/open software/close software. NOTHING works to pair the resound hearing aids to my iPhone XS. Hours! I spend hours trying to get it to work right. Why? Because it's great to hear my podcasts and movies through my hearing aids. When it works. Honestly? Since the hearphones have such better sound quality, I'm giving up on these things until they work out the repeated serious software issues.------- A day later: 11/24/20 Update: turned off hearing aid compatibility on iphone, deleted app from phone, opened battery compartments, powered down phone, rebooted phone, went to accessibility /hearing devices, closed battery compartments on hearing aids, turned on hearing aid compatibility, both hearing aids were recognized and both pair requests popped-up. I noticed that the iPhone hearing aid controls that appeared after pairing, were the same ones with same shortcut names as had been on the Resound app. So, deleting the app didn't delete all data, which would seem to me to be problematic for proposes of software updates. I have now reinstalled the app. Let's see what happens when I open it! Update: so, streaming to my hearing aids is now working. Upping the rating from 1 to 3 stars. Can't go higher due to wicked time consumption at guessing what the right combination of moves will fix.

Thank you for letting me know that installing the latest update would wipe out all of my previous favorites! Keep up the good work! If I could give this version of the APP a -10 I would! Worst piece of software I have ever used!
  • Horrible app.

I ve had very expensive sids because I work in health care. I have had nothing but trouble with either the aids or app, likely app, for 6 years. Contacted customer service but the best I get is remove app and restart. I would never recommend the aids or app. $7,000 of useless ear jewelry.
  • No pairing with iOS 14

App is completely useless in pairing with my ReSound smart hearing aids. While pairing was intermittent before the iOS update, it’s completely gone now. Back to the drawing board, ReSound!
  • Always slow to adapt to iOS updates

One thing about Resound, they’re consistent. Again, this time a major update for iOS (14), and now we have connection issues, cut outs when the app switches to iPhone sound inexplicably (often!), App doesn’t stay connected to Hearing AIDS, and it just goes on from there!😡
  • Unreliable!

Some days it refuses to connect to my hearing aides. Doesn’t reliably detect locations like restaurants. Some times changes settings without any reason. You simply hear a beep and one hearing aides drops in volume setting independent of the other. Following directions to reset everything from scratch is not always effective. It will suddenly, on start up, default to iPhone and then it refuses to allow you to change to All Around, T-Coil, Restaurant, or any other settings. Even rebooting my iPhone doesn’t help. Twice I’ve had to delete and reinstall. Very unstable!
  • Stuck on iPhone mode

It’s stuck on iPhone mode. I cannot change modes either via the app or the hearing aids. New improvements allow better adjustments to the hearing aids. Thank you.
