    This app doesn’t curate the quality of individuals that it’s promising it’s users. The men tend to be unattractive, posers, and from everywhere around the world (you don’t really get to refine search unless you pay an exorbitant amount of money). I keep getting spammed by men from India and Bolivia and have even had some trying to pay for flights for me to fly to them - super sketch. On the flip side, I have seen men I know (I literally have met them) whom are in significant debt and do not have good character. Idk what kind of vetting process this app provides, but it’s terrible.

  • Privacy nightmare, Stealing clipboard data without permissions

    Every time you switch back to the app from another, the app reads your clipboard data and pastes it and then sends it back to their servers. Nowhere in the sites terms or marketing is this behavior mentioned. Shame. If I were located in Europe I’d be filing GDPR complaints and law suits. UPDATE AMD RESPONSE TO DEV TEAM: the developer response not only validates what I have stated above but expresses a desire to use misinformation to confuse future readers about how the app and the clipboard banner work. To clarify: Your clipboard is a system level data store for text information. This means you may copy a password to put into a field in a website you may copy a bank account number, you may copy a really salacious message with lots of details you never want anything to see. All of those end up in the clipboard until you copy something new. This means if you navigate into Luxy in the interim with that data in your clipboard they automatically paste it and send it to their servers WITHOUT PERMISSION

    I have been trying for a week uploading my pics then verifying under different lighting, different posses getting too close to camera, in the middle, any position. It closes then gets back to verify again. The only thing that worked was the likes I got with nothing to do with them. Stay away from this app. Update 12/14/2020: the developer offered to help as you can see the comments. I sent them my pic(selfi my face is covering the whole pic so clear it is also take in 4k) and they still dd mot verify me there is the developer’s response: “The picture you provided to me on December 11th didn't show your three fingers as we requested, thus we are not able to verify it's your picture. Thanks for your understanding.”

    Won’t let me delete my account after even after the review. But looking at the who is near me feature, the user-base both lacks diversity in age and ethnicity. I wanted to delete my account even before the review ended, but wouldn’t let me.

    I’ve tried to get vouched in on the app two times now and still no success. I wish the app would show the percentage of votes you receive or allow members to interact with you during the vouching period. I’m an attractive and well-spoken woman who has no trouble having success and gaining attention on similar platforms so I’m not sure what the problem is this time. It’s a little annoying because I’d like to experience the app for myself and not just read reviews or preview who’s in my area. It doesn’t make sense to me how you can either be vouched in or pay a ridiculous amount to be a part of the website. I’ll keep trying to get vouched in but even if I do I’ve read reviews that say the interface and functionality of the app isn’t that great so we shall see.
