WEBTOON: Comics

WEBTOON is disrespectful to authors and treats them so poorly. They’re inconsistent with what they deem inappropriate or unacceptable and remove chapters. It’s sad to see some of my favorite authors on there be disrespected by webtoon staff.

I LOVE WEBTOON! and I was going to give it a five star review but daily pass for some completed webtoons, it’s making it take so long to read the series that I love, Sweet Home.

Used to be all right but now constantly crashes at the end of the chapters...seems like they’re trying to pop up an ad and it just wrecks the entire app.

app has been crashing when i finish a chapter. is otherwise a great app.

So for whatever reason my account vanished. A big deal because I’d spent hundreds of dollars fast passing multiple series over the course of about two years. So now I have no history, no saved series, have lost access to all the updates I’ve already paid for, and lost about $50 worth of loaded coins. I’ve been dealing with their customer service trying to recover my data, I’ve even shown them screen shots of my bank statements demonstrating the $$ spent in their app. After dealing with them for a week they asked me to start over and resubmit my complaint, and I’ve not heard anything from them since. Absolutely unbelievable that their app cannot recognize your phone and the fact that you previously had an account. Probably will have to give up on the app forever because as it is I’ll have to wait 2-3 months until all of my fast pass series become free again, and honestly- I’ll have lost interest by then. Moral of the story: don’t give them any of your money. They’ll just wait for you to be hooked and rip you off.

I’ve watched sweet home ever since it came out and now they’re making you pay money just to read it even though I’ve already read everything web tunes is selling out

I typically love this app, but it’s crashed four times in the past ten minutes and I’ve restarted it multiple times. It’s getting a bit irksome. Hopefully there’s just a bug.

Terrible account issues and heavy monetization with the already abundant amount of adds. Whoever made the daily past was a soulless animal and they probably got a raise too didn’t they.
