This has to be illegal. I signed up under the free trial went back and they charged me. I tried to cancel the app will not come up. I logged out and tried logging back in and it’s saying my info in incorrect when I know it’s correct. I had to cancel my credit card just so they won’t charge me again. If I’m having issues with canceling I cant trust them at all. They also have no contact info for US users. What a disgraceful app. It’s 2020 really!!!!!!
  • App and Customer Service Failure

I contacted the developer about the app, stated I had previously updated the app to the current version. Updated my Apple device to the current version and all I saw was a black screen. The response was to send me back instructions on how to update my phone and the current app version. Seeing other reviews, about the problems still existing as well as horrible response to getting back with the customer. I have new knowledge this app will never work properly to get customer satisfaction because they just want the revenue from our subscription. Money over client's, great company motto!

I’ve been using this app for a few months now (on the iPad) with no problems. However, in just he past few days, the app will suddenly stop streaming after about 3-5 minutes. Nothing 8n the app will work anymore. Will probably have to cancel membership because I only stream on the iPad. Very disappointing.

I didn’t set closed caption, but if you stop an episode then go back it starts closed caption.
  • Terrific Programs; Decent App

I’m surprised at all the reviews with issues since I’ve had no issues with the app (except for me forgetting the password at one time). We’ve absolutely enjoyed the tremendous number of excellent shows available (Detectorists, Good Karma Hospital, 800 Words, The Heart Doctor, A Place to Call Home have been some of my favorite shows of all time). We’re planning to drop our cable TV subscription since there are several streaming apps that provide us with enough high quality entertainment for a long time, and AcornTV is our favorite.
  • Bugs, Issues, Bad Support

Having to list issues is a red flag. 1. There are two apps. One is for the Apple TV and another is not. Not knowing this, you might purchase the wrong one or both. 2. When trying to reset a password, an email will be sent. That email will have a button to rest your password. Clicking on it opens the app. And it seemingly does nothing. Apparently, it (not obviously) logs you in. And there is a link in the app you may find to change your password. But, none of this is clear. 3. When asking support for help on resetting a password. They might give you the wrong advice. My ticket showed that I was on iOS, but their response was a solution for Google Play. The single star is required to submit a review. This is unfortunate. While the app(s) and support don’t deserve much praise, the content is good. Please improve these apps.
  • Just ok. Average shows. Broken features.

Worth having just about. Decent interface. Not enough great shows. The CC will always force itself on no matter what every time. That’s annoying. The continue watching from is never accurate.
