    I’ve used multiple food apps for many different companies. The McDonald’s app is by far the most user-friendly and the most versatile when it comes to deals. I would highly recommend!

    Since Mar of this year, I cannot use this APP anymore. While I launch it, it will always complain that 「Application Initialization critical error occurred. Please restart the App 」. I have restarted and even reinstalled it many times. I reported the issue to TECH team. However, the support team still didn’t find the solution.

    This is a really disappointing app, it is very difficult to use and makes a lot of mistakes. 1. A location didn’t deal with our order correctly, so we had to pay with credit card at the store instead. The app would not allow us to get rid of that order the next time that we tried to use it. 2. Tried to order lunch and the app would only show breakfast even though the store was serving lunch at the time. gave up and went to burger king instead 3. App doesn’t seem to show breakfast/lunch hours. 4. many times you have to start orders over and over 5. App won’t allow you to use the “deals” if you order delivery 6. there are many more issues that we have had. they need to do ALOT of work on this app, though the idea is good

    This app used to work perfectly on my iphone but since it updated haven’t been able to login ( gives me and error that the app is currently not working ) when i try to log in it gives me apple login cancelled.. plz fix the app thnks

    This app used to be great and so convenient with curbside pickup especially during COVID-19. Last two weeks, when I get to McDonald’s the app says there’s a problem and I should go inside. First time inside could not find my order and had to redo. Not fun to be in that situation during COVID. Next time 2 weeks later same problem. I canceled order rather than go inside. Should have been fixed by now. Disappointed

    When I use the app at the East Moline location, it often says I have used a deal recently, so I can’t use one for 55 minutes.

    The app program is great the only thing they should fix is that when you scan your app for the deals and the machine doesn’t accept it or you decide to pick so other deal you have to wait 1 hour to choose another one kind of waste of a trip !

    Like many others have said here, the app will not let me login and does not function. The app always states “initialization error.” After 2 weeks of looking into it mcdonald’s support has said that there is no way to fix it currently, and to use android. Strange to hear from a billion dollar company that they can’t get their ios app to work for iphones, but there you have it. Just for reference, I have an updated iphone but even on a non updated iphone it still did not work.

  • Need a way to reverse payment when order not fulfilled

    This has happened to us twice now. We place an order for curbside pick-up and don’t receive the full order. In one case we had ordered two cafe drinks (really the bulk of our order) and when they brought the other drink out informed us that their cafe machine was broken and they had no way to reverse the charges on our order. Both times I had to follow-up with the manager after the fact and wait for re-imbursment. Both times required repeated calls to the store because they don’t often answer their phone (perhaps a commentary on the actual store). Regardless - the fact that the store can’t revers the charges when an order can’t be fulfilled is an issue.
