Not sure why people are not showing much love to this awesome app which works flawlessly between my Mac, PCs, iphone and androids. The best part is free.
  • Unreliable; does not allow for filling of OTP codes

I have used several password managers in my time, including 1Password and others. This app is the worst by far. There is a spot for OTP codes, but unforunately, you have to manually find the secret code and cannot use the QR code to enter the information. You cannot fill the OTP code automatically. You need to go into EDIT MODE just to copy the OTP code. That's right, you can not copy it from the browser. Finally, this product randomly does not synch data. I only use it because I am mandated to do so and would change to 1Password or others in a heartbeat if I could do so.

The app is unusuable. I can't create or modify records. I get "ERROR: Hmm... This is taking longer than usual."
  • Get the version from the website

I initially downloaded this when switching from Chrome to Safari with the release of MacOS Big Sur, since LastPass claimed to have a Safari extension. As it turns out, this is not that. The release with the Safari extension needs to be downloaded on the web right now. I don't know why, but they haven't updated this app in a year, even though the Safari extension is mostly working at this point. The web version is more up-to-date, contains fixes for a number of issues in the App Store version, and comes with the Safari extension. Get that version, not this one.
  • Invaluable... but idiosyncratic

LastPass can be... inconsistent with respect to how it works on any given site (or whether it works). For the most part though I've been pretty happy with it for several years now, despite recently struggling with it following my upgrade to Big Sur.
  • Love LastPass and Use it Across All My Devices!

I have been using LastPass for at least 8 years now, and I love it as much as I did when I first found it. It is such a lifesaver to be able to keep all my passwords securely in one place. I am the type of person who would otherwise struggle to remember my passwords, or reuse the same password across many sites just so I couldn't forget (which obviously isn't ideal). Anyway, I like that there is a Mac app for Lastpass so I am able to easily access my passwords across all of my Apple devices.
  • Absolutely horrible!

This app has never been great, but it still somehow manages to keep getting worse from there. What could the developers possibly be thinking??? The interface is exhausting to use, the reliability is unpredictable, and this may just be the only app in the world to still not offer dark mode. LastPass is in a serious nose dive, and frankly, I think it's too late for them to pull up now. There's no way on earth I'd trust my most secure data to a company that can't even get the basic things right!
  • Elimination of Safari Extension is a LARGE FAILURE

I'v since switched to chrome, which yes does have a safari extension but I've imported my passwords to that... Its free and lets me auto log and can be done on all my devices. So yea. Sorry but the app is less useful. I was a paid member for 5 years :(
  • Keychain is better

I used it while it was free, but now the Safari extension costs money. All it allows me to do is launch from within LastPass, not something that is necessary for me as all my Apple devices launch with Login/Password using Keychain and its seemless and free.
