Being honest, the app gets buggy every now and then. So you might have to delete it and reinstall it. However, what makes up for it is their customer service. Hands down some of the best tech support I’ve ever received, if not the best. All of the agents I’ve talk to have been very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They know exactly what to do for each issue, and they make it quick and easy too. Their wait times are never that long, most likely because of how efficient each agent is on the phone. I highly recommend getting yourself a ring. Ik I raved a lot about their customer service, but the actual door bell is genius. Makes sure to change your default password to configure your wireless internet, as that is how it connects. The app is very straight forward, and the GUI is clean and easy to use. Great company, they know what they’re doing.

Good app that provides access to Ring Cam. Room for improvement (latest update as on 12/26/2020). 1). Live view takes a long time to load (-10 seconds). 2). When in Live view, the app closes after a few seconds (3 secs) Running app on an Iphone 11.

Lately there has been a long lag from the notification and the video actually loading.
  • Each day, a little bit worse than the day before.

You need to work on the neighbors video playback. Never seems to play. Deleting the app and reinstalling the app is a short term fix.

My ring doorbell is near our router extender and has a RSI -20 but yet it keeps recording black videos & im unable to connect to live videos. It used to be good but all the updates are making it worse.

12/26/20 - update: motion zones no longer allow to turn on or off. Previously I had two motion zones. One zone for daytime hours and an extended zone for night hours to include a wider range. Now I must readjust the additional single zone every night. Why take a step backwards Ring? I love Ring and the software/hardware is great. The only thing I don’t like is when updates are pushed out the time lasp view is disabled and to enable it there are too many steps. Please don’t disable features when making updates.
