    Horrible clunky mess of an app. Your music will constantly come to a stop, and sometimes you can’t even just swipe from the top right and press play, because it’ll be wiped too. Had I known of the app’s problems, I would not have subscribed.

    From their choices of interviewees to quote in their articles to the constant Trump campaign ads, this publication makes little attempt to be unbiased. During the initial pandemic months, every hospitality article was about how the pandemic was affecting all the restaurants *owners.* I never read an interview of a working class individual, a bar back, a server. The owners they featured typically owned multiple venues. Their coverage of the Shelly Luther scandal is why the woman is running for office right now. I never see any bar graphs, charts, anything based on science or statistics is mysteriously absent. Lots of opinion though! Plenty of white guy and white lady opinion. No, thank you. Totally archaic hierarchy and that is evident in the content produced.

    Not user friendly enough or intuitive . Example, trying to pull a story on the Mavericks playoff series. Can only see the Rangers and Stars. Thanks for listening.

  • Worst App Ever

    Forces you out of the app all the time and requires you to click restore subscription where it has made you lose your place when you come back. Half the content is two or three days old. DMN seems to only hire new graduates out of school. No investigative journalism. Poorly written. Worst app ever.

    The app details clearly state a price of 29.99 for six months, but it charges you 49.99. The response from DMN was less than sympathetic... and the pricing is still misleading since I reported it 12 days ago. While I appreciate journalistic integrity, I would appreciate pricing integrity a little more.

  • Better User Experience Needed

    The mobile site is worlds beyond what this basic app is. The app layout is too basic, the homepage feed is like a bad version of Instagram. Internal links pointing to other DMN articles send you to a mobile browser and force you to log in again to view. I also need options to customize news notifications from different categories I care about. Come to think of it, I hardly get any breaking news push notifications from this app. I see more AP News notifications coming in from their app. Very disappointing app user experience from a paid monthly member.

    Our world is filled with events and I want to learn about them if only the DMN would do this instead of 20 stories around the same 2 themes every issue. I regret my subscription.

    I thought when I paid for the news I’d be getting daily news. Not last weeks I had already read. If I want to read last weeks stories I would go to your archived news. Silly me for thinking this was going to be any different than the news feed I can get for free.
