We can only import data from our German bank. All US accounts do not work. Even in the ofx data ,there is a box for the US So I have to put in all my data manually.

I you need you data - not use on multiple devices!!!! This program can work only with ONE device. If you use many devices you can lost you history if connect from other device. Previous version (3) work fine with multiple devices. All transactions merge after sync. This version you can use without problems only ONE DEVICE!!!

I have been using iFinance 4 on macOS and iOS for a couple of weeks and, so far, it has been the best money managing app I have ever used!
  • Needs Direct Access

Great looking app, but doesn’t have direct access so requires a lot of work to get all of your accounts in one program. My TSP and Investment accounts don’t support the OFX format so i can only get one of my banks in here. This is a 5 Star app with that feature. I’d even be willing to pay for the access much like banktivity charges. I’d love to leave banktivity but really need the direct access feature

There is no way to enter transactions with the watch, and no one answers when you ask why they show a false screenshot of that.
  • Don't waste your money

It doesn't support many institutions and make it very complicated to set up. You'd figure that for the amount of money they charge, they would have an accurate update of the financial institutions available in the country. It was a total waste of my money.

I am running my small business accounting with iFinance 4. I really like it. Hope that development won't be stopped.
  • Good app, bad sync

iFinance is a great way to manage funds. I've been using it for awhile. The only thing I hate is their iCloud sync. It asks me: "which version do you want to keep?" When going to another device that's received changes. Um, obviously the version most recently modified! That's kind of how the Cloud works. Why ask me to restore to older out-of-sync version?

I purchased this app for ease of OFX access. The OFX stopped working last week. I went to the bank and found they had changed many perimeters and entered them, it still didn't work. Went to the creators of ifinance4 and they had me change a small bit of access information and it worked. The customer support was fabulous, very quick and accurate.

iFinance has lots of great features. The ones I use the most are downloading transactions from all my banks via OFX/QFX files, syncing my data to iCloud so that I can use iFinance on my iPad, iPhone &  Watch, and setting up budgets to track my spending. The only thing that's missing is multi-tasking support. I really wish that I could have iFinance on one side of the screen, and Safari on the other while I work on my finances. I like to have lots of details about my finances and iFinance let's me do that. iFinance is especially strong in letting me manage cash, credit, savings, and checking accounts. You can track stocks and mutual funds, but there's currently no way for me to import stock data (the developers said they'd look into adding this feature). I also really appreciate that I can use iCloud to sync my financial data between my Mac, iPhone,  Watch, and iPad. It lets me keep track of my finances no matter where I am. I also prefer to use iCloud since I have more control over my data, compared to other using other companies' cloud services.
